Mechanically this pipe works and smokes great. It has the appearance of a smaller pipe but actually has a large chamber; overall size of the pipe bordering on large despite the average length. Aesthetically I find the fit and finish to be mediocre. The rim has a natural crack in the briar that extends an 1/8 into the chamber. The rim -and briar body in general- has many visible fills. The steel ring has tool marks from being turned and I suspect it is actually poorly plated brass, as the finish is uneven. The pictures and description do not mention or highlight the subpar briar, as there are many attempts to use the finish to dress up the grainless left side of the pipe. Overall a great functional pipe. Would be a 5-star price at $25.00 USD.
